Shoppers, get ready. Amazon Prime Day 2022 is fast approaching.
The annual two-day sales event – essentially Amazon's answer to Black Friday – is expected to feature deals on a wide range of products.
Last year's Prime Day was the biggest yet, with more than two million discounts on offer across the site exclusively for Prime members.
Could Prime Day 2022 be even bigger? Here is everything we know about this year's shopping bonanza.
When is Prime Day 2022?
Prime Day 2022 will take place over a 48-hour period in July, although Amazon has yet to reveal the exact dates.
Since its launch in 2015, Prime Day has typically taken place in July. However, the 2020 event happened in October due to COVID disruption, while the 2021 edition was in June.
How can I get the best Prime Day deals?
Amazon will be offering deals in more than 20 countries, including the UK, on products across every category, from tech and homeware to beauty and clothing.
The catch is that – as the name suggests – the sales event is exclusive to Amazon Prime members.
A monthly membership costs £7.99 a month and a yearly subscription is £79.
However, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial to make the most of the Prime Day deals – and you'll also get access to Prime Video, Apple Music and Prime Reading.
If you're a student, you can get a six-month free trial to Prime Student, followed by a £3.99 a monthly fee or a £39.99 annual membership.
Yahoo UK's shopping expert editors will be scouring the best discounts throughout Prime Day to help you decide what to buy, so stay tuned.
