“A New Revolution in Women's Beauty is Here,” the brand’s Instagram page reads before describing the definition of ‘The V’ as “that pretty triangle”.

“The bikini line and visible delicate skin that we wax, shave, laser, sugar, trim or dye, then leave until next time” is also another definition of what ‘The V’ is.

The products are currently only available to buy in Scandinavia, however reports claim there is plans to roll them out worldwide over the coming months.

The highlighter claims to add a “luminious iridescent color and some extra prettiness to the V”, while the serum “rejuvenates, revitalizes and firms”.

There’s also a mist which “perfects The V any time, any place” and an exfoliator “to help ward off and prepare skin for any potential problems”.

However the products have been met with major backlash online, with women claiming she “would prefer an invisibility cloak” for her vagina .

“At this age I do NOT want to highlight my vagina with make up. I would prefer an invisibility cloak for it! vagina highlighter #menopause,” she said.

Another woman said the industry had gone too far this time.

“Alright well I just found vagina highlighter so that's it I'm done being a woman I can't take it anymore it's too much pressure,” she wrote online.

And more were just plain stumped at the products.

“There's highlighter in the shape of a vagina I'm done,” one person said.
