When is Black Mirror season 6 on TV?

The last season of Black Mirror aired way back in 2019, so fans have had a long wait for new episodes.

The anthology series changes story and cast for every episode, so at the moment there are no details on what the new set of stories will be about.

What we do know is that Black Mirror always uses the world being saturated by tech, leading to some strange and often uncontrollable situations, as its jumping off point.

In the early pandemic days of 2020, Brooker told the Radio Times that he thought he and his fans had all lost their appetite for stories about communities falling apart, so it will be interesting to see how the last couple of years have affected the tone of the show.

He said: "At the moment, I don’t know what stomach there would be for stories about societies falling apart, so I’m not working away on one of those. I’m sort of keen to revisit my comic skill set, so I’ve been writing scripts aimed at making myself laugh.”

This season is said to be longer than season five, which contained just three episodes.
