Fans encountered difficulties accessing BLACKPINK member Lisa’s personal Weibo account, which was allegedly deleted due to violations.

Lisa’s account: When attempting to access Lisa's account on the Chinese microblogging website, fans received a notification stating that the account cannot be viewed due to reported violations of laws, regulations and Weibo community agreements. The development on Wednesday also applied to the official fan account associated with the idol.

Fan speculations: Fans suspect that the suspension or deletion of Lisa’s account may be linked to her recent cabaret performance at Crazy Horse Paris, which may have been deemed indecent by Chinese authorities. The 26-year-old’s involvement with Crazy Horse, which is known for its explicit performances, may have violated China's strict laws against nudity and obscenity.

Last month, Lisa became the first K-pop artist to perform at the historic Crazy Horse, a cabaret art theater in the French capital. Her shows, which ran for three days from Sept. 28 to Sept. 30, were reportedly attended by several celebrity visitors, including her BLACKPINK groupmates.

Many found it puzzling because the location of her Crazy Horse performance was not even in China. They speculate that this could also result in her being banned from China, potentially impacting her ability to sell her work in the country.

Other deleted accounts: Additionally, fans noticed that the accounts of Chinese actresses Angelababy and Zhang Jiani, who were present at Lisa's Crazy Horse show, were also deleted.

The situation is raising concerns among fans about potential repercussions for other artists, such as members of BLACKPINK, aespa, (G)I-DLE and Park Chanyeol, whose albums may also face bans in China due to their association with artists who performed at Crazy Horse Paris.
