Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have quietly made another generous personal donation to those most affected by the global pandemic. Following a $1 million contribution to Feeding America and Food Banks Canada, the couple has since donated a further $400,000 that has been split between four hospitals most in need in New York City.

According to E! News, Lively and Reynolds quietly donated $100,000 to each of the four most impacted hospitals in New York; Elmhurst, NYU Hospital, Mount Sinai and Northern Westchester. According to the news outlet, "the couple wants to continue encouraging people around the country to help their communities, local hospitals, and healthcare workers during this time".

New York has been hit hard by the spread of coronavirus with medical facilities close to breaking point. It is also the location in which the A-list couple resides – they are known to have an apartment in NYC and a house north of the city in Bedford.

Aside from these two donations, Reynolds' company Aviation Gin has also made a contribution to help those in the hospitality industry affected by job losses by donating $15,000 to the United States Bartender's Guild. The company will also add an additional 30 per cent tip for every bottle delivered until May.
