Bride's heartwarming surprise halfway through father-daughter dance
A bride has shared the heartwarming moment she stopped her father-daughter dance midway through to surprise her grandfather by including him in the dance.
"A moment I'll never forget," the bride Abbie captioned a video on TikTok in which she shared the 'non-traditional thing' she did at her wedding.
"Halfway through the father/daughter dance I told my dad I had a surprise," she explained in the video.
"No one knew. I grabbed my 89 year old poppy and finished the dance with him.
"A moment I'll cherish forever."

Abbie said the "magical" surprise left "everyone crying", also suggesting: "If you have grandparents with you on your wedding day I highly recommend doing this."
The video has since been viewed over 9.8M times, with other TikTok users flooding the comments section.
"My heart," one person wrote.
"I cried so much because I'll never get to do this," another, who like many other commenters, shared they had sadly already lost their grandparents.
"This many me cry I love this so much," was a third response.
It comes after another sweet moment went viral recently when a bride shared how her dad asked her stepdad to join them as they walked down the aisle on her wedding day.
Kelsey posted the sweet clip on TikTok last month and it also went viral, with people calling the gesture 'precious' and 'selfless'.
"I’ve been so surprised that the video did so well, but I’m so happy it’s about my amazing dad and step dad," Kelsey told Yahoo Lifestyle at the time.
