Brimington: Arrests after serious assault near village pub

Police investigating reports of a serious assault in a Derbyshire village have arrested two men.

The attack is believed to have happened at the side of the Three Horseshoes Pub, in Brimington, at about 10:30 GMT on Saturday.

A man was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries, but has since been discharged.

Two men arrested on suspicion of assault, aged 36 and 32, have been released on bail.
