The nation is getting more excited about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding every day – but some people have more reason to celebrate than most.

The couple have now revealed the names of the lucky musicians who will get to play at the service and a talented Britain's Got Talent alum is among them.

The news was announced in a series of tweets by Kensington Palace, with 19-year-old cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, who competed on BGT in 2015, being named as one of the musicians.

The 2016 Young Musician of the Year performed alongside his siblings The Kanneh-Masons on Britain's Got Talent, with the family making it through to the semi-finals.

And it seems that the musician's talent impressed Prince Harry and Meghan so much that they personally called him to ask him to play at their wedding.

Sheku wrote on Twitter: "I'm so excited and honoured to perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding. I was bowled over when Ms Markle called me to ask if I would play during the ceremony, and of course I immediately said yes!!! What a privilege. I can't wait!"

Kensington Palace confirmed that the couple had chosen all their music themselves, tweeting: "Both Prince Harry and Ms. Markle have taken a great deal of interest and care in choosing the music for their Service, which will include a number of well-known hymns and choral works."

The wedding, which will be televised live, is taking place in St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19.

It's an exciting time for the royal family at the moment, what with Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge welcoming their third child, a baby boy, yesterday (April 23).

The Queen also celebrated her 92nd birthday over the weekend, enjoying a concert featuring the likes of Shaggy and Kylie Minogue.
