If, like us, you spent most (read: all) of your childhood dancing around your room to iconic Britney Spears' tracks like "Toxic" and "Oops!... I Did It Again", then you might want to sit down for this next piece of news. Britney just revealed she doesn't know if she'll return to performing. Like, ever.

Britney shared a video to Instagram on June 17, captioned: "As @shaniatwain says best … LETS GO GIRLS !!!! It’s time to answer more of your questions 🌸 💁🏼♀️🌹".

She started the clip by saying, "Okay, so I hear you guys have been writing in and I'm here to answer all of your questions." In the video, Britney revealed she wears a size seven shoe, and that her fave business trip was to Donatella Versace's private Italian villa.

The next much-anticipated question was whether or not she'll "ever take the stage again".

"I have no idea," Britney answered, "I'm having fun right now... I'm in a transition in my life and I'm enjoying myself, so that's it."

Britney last performed on stage in 2018, just a few months before cancelling her Domination residency at the Park MGM resort in Las Vegas. In November 2020, Britney’s attorney said she refuses to perform as long as her father, Jamie Spears, is in control of her career.

More recently, the star revealed that her mum wants her to sing again. In a throwback clip shared to Instagram in March 2021, Britney said: “Geez… My mom sent this to me and reminded me that I can sing. She said, ‘You never sing anymore… you need to again!!!!’”

So, while the idea of a Britney comeback tour seems *uncertain*, we guess for now we'll be back to dancing around our bedrooms...
