Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham are throwing three different parties in the U.S. and UK to celebrate their recent engagement, reportedly this is so that the Beckham family friends can be kept separate from a controversial guest at one of the bashes.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram last month and to celebrate Brooklyn and Nicola are reportedly planning a party in New York near where she lives. Meanwhile, according to The Sunday Mirror, Nicola's father American businessman Nelson Peltz, is throwing the couple a party at his home in Palm Beach, Florida, and will be inviting Donald Trump along with other senior republicans. Nelson is long-time supporter of reality-tv star turned President, Donald Trump.
As a result, the paper reports, Victoria Beckham is planning to throw a third party in London for friends of the family who might be put off by the idea of attending the Florida party.
According to the paper a source close to Brooklyn said, "There have been a lot of logistical problems with Brooklyn and Nicola's engagement parties."
"Nicola’s dad is friends with Trump and a lot of republicans, which is the complete opposite to Victoria’s friends," the source continued. "[Victoria] thinks many of her liberal friends won’t attend a bash with Trump so she is planning a party in the UK. So right now there is one in the UK, one in Florida and one in New York."
Now, that is some very complicated family politics...
