They sold out almost instantly when Kmart released them, now Bunnings is selling its own instant hot water dispenser, and it's only $18 more than the Kmart version.
Bunnings' $87 version instantaneously dispenses 1.8 litres of hot water in just eight seconds, no preheating necessary. It also saves 20 per cent energy as compared with a standard kettle.
It's also a safe option for families as it has a "cool touch body".
Kmart's version held up to 2 litres of water and claimed to heat water in "three to five seconds".
Those who missed out on the Kmart version are rushing to the Bunnings website to get their hands on the item.
One user wrote in a Facebook group, "So missed out on the kmart instant kettle so Bunnings to the rescue.. definitely worth it. No more waiting for it to boil."
At the moment, the dispenser is only available online and is sold and delivered by KG Electronics, with one Facebook user also revealing it had recently been available on Catch.
They wrote, "I bought the exact one off Catch of the day and I love it!"
Another said, "We have this and love it."
When the Kmart version was released, fans couldn't stop raving about it on social media.
“I'm so in love with my new Instant Hot Water Dispenser. Love that you can change the temperature to suit... Perfect for my green tea,” one happy customer shared along with a snap of the device in use.
“Instant hot water dispenser is amazing. Goodbye kettle and the waiting,” said another in a separate post.
