Busy Philipps rushed to hospital with knee injury

Busy Philipps was rushed to the emergency room after hurting her knee during a fall in the street.
The 39-year-old actress had just finished a session at the gym when she took a tumble on the street and "super brutally fell to the ground", injuring her knee in the process, before being rushed off to hospital to check that nothing was broken.
In a series of posts on her Instagram story, Busy revealed: "You guys, I like just, super brutally fell to the ground in the street. It was horrible. Like, I'm going to start crying. I don't know what happened.
"Like, I don't know what happened. I was walking and then I was kind of like walking around a parking meter and then I fell off the curb and like flew into the street and all these people like, came rushing up.
"I might have really f***ed up my knee."
Luckily for the 'Cougar Town' star, when she got to the hospital she was told her knee wasn't broken, but her doctor has advised her to stay on crutches until she can have an MRI scan, because the knee she injured is the same one she already has a pin in.
In a separate post on her Instagram, she wrote: So on brand it hurts. But really. It fucking hurts. *** update! My knee isn't broken! But the orthopedist wants me to get an MRI next week since it's the same knee I have a pin in-(and he wants me to use crutches) I just recorded a new @nodocspod with Steve while I was waiting and he's gonna put it up soon. Ugh. UGH. UGH. (sic)"
Busy's trip to the gym comes after the star - who has daughters Birdie, eight, and Cricket, three, with her husband Marc Silverstein - previously revealed she finds regular exercise helps to relieve some of the symptoms of her anxiety.
Alongside a picture of the blonde-haired beauty in her gym attire after her exercise class in June last year, she proudly wrote: "How much sweat is too much sweat? Someone asked me if people like my sweaty Instagram stories and my feeling is that, honestly, I don't really care all that much. I post those for myself, as a f**k yes for showing up. I have anxiety and I have a tendency towards depression but I have found if I sweat like this, EVERY SINGLE DAY, I feel better, I'm calmer, I'm a better mom and those fogs of anxiety or sadness seem a little lighter. (sic)."
