Caitlyn Jenner is 'on eggshells' as a trans woman

Caitlyn Jenner feels like she's "constantly on eggshells" when talking about being a trans woman.
The reality TV star - who was known as Bruce Jenner before transitioning into life as a woman in 2015 - admitted she worries about whether she will say something to offend some members of the LGBTQ community.
Appearing as a guest panelist on ITV's 'Loose Women' on Thursday (20.09.18), she said: "I said something that it was important to me that personally I didn't want to look like a man in a dress.
"If I was going to do this, I think like everybody you want to be able to do a good enough job that at least you're passable. It just blew up, like, 'Oh my god, what about the ones out there that want to look like a man in a dress?' I'm constantly on eggshells.
"I mean, I've learned a lot. They have this thing called the internet. It's kind of frightening because everything you do is scrutinised by a lot of people, and it gives even the smallest majority in any community a big voice. The media's looking for that, they're looking for controversy."
Caitlyn, 68, admitted it can be "tough" knowing what to say, and explained she struggled at first because she never realised she'd "met another trans person" until she opened up herself.
She added: "It's tough - I even mess up sometimes ... Especially at the beginning, when I transitioned three years ago I had never even met another trans person, at least that I knew of ... So I had a lot to learn, because you're so visible."
Meanwhile, the 'I Am Cait' star also opened up about how upset she was realising she'd left her former self, Olympic gold medallist Bruce Jenner, behind.
Caitlyn - who was previously married to Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner - candidly said: "It was tough at first. He was a good person, he raised good children, he won the games, and all of a sudden it was like, he was gone and it was me. I didn't change that much, little Bruce still lives inside."
