Lord Alan Sugar slammed for Meghan Markle jab: 'I don’t believe her'
Michelle Bridges described Celebrity Apprentice boss Lord Sugar as "no BS", but the outspoken businessman, who hasn't been afraid to speak his mind on various of the celebrities on the show, is now been slammed for a comment about Meghan Markle.
Lord Alan Sugar was being interviewed on the newly launched British channel GB News, but is being criticised for “shoehorning” a negative remark about the Duchess of Sussex.
During the segment with Dan Wootton, which has also been dubbed a "car crash" interview, Lord Sugar hit out at Meghan for her televised interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March.
Meghan opened up about her own struggles with mental health and suicidal thoughts during the explosive interview, sparking a huge reaction to claims she received no help from the palace.

But Lord Sugar, who was supportive of controversial British TV host Piers Morgan's criticism of Meghan, said he stands by his statement that he doesn't believe the duchess.
"Buckingham Palace and all these places where they live... doctors are visiting privately every single day of the week, so if she had something wrong with her, I’m absolutely sure that a psychiatrist or psychotherapist or whatever could have come and visited, and no one would need to know," Sugar said.
"I should imagine that the Queen has had many visits and indeed some other members of the family, have had many visits from doctors.
"They’re very private and confidential and very carefully conducted. For that reason, and that reason alone, I don’t believe her."
Piers Morgan controversially walked off the set of Good Morning Britain, after his co-host Alex Beresford condemned the outspoken Meghan critic for 'trashing' the Duchess of Sussex, particularly in the wake of her mental health confession.
“I don’t believe a word she says," Piers said of Meghan's shocking claims at the time.
After a flood of complaints, ITV confirmed the host would be stepping down from his position.
Piers' departure from ITV comes after the network's chief executive backed Meghan's claims in a press conference.
“I completely believe what she [Meghan] said,” Carolyn McCall said.
Viewers of Lord Sugar's interview similarly condemned the new network for airing the comments, with one person calling the channel "truly awful".
"They lost me when they had Alan Sugar on to discuss the validity of Meghan Markle’s mental health issues. Really..?" one angry viewer wrote.
"Car crash interview with Alan Sugar. Desperately trying to shoehorn a negative comment in about Meghan, every sentence mentions woke, liberal, left and elite. What an utter shower of s***," another said.
While a third viewer tweeted: "Turn on GB News just for a gander to be greeted by Alan Sugar saying that Meghan Markle was lying about having mental health issues to a washed up former Sun columnist. I turned off."
