Chelyabinsk forging and stamping plant now making missiles for Russian military, Atesh reports
A new missile production plant has been discovered in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk, the pro-Ukrainian Crimean resistance movement Atesh reported on Telegram on Oct. 29.
The local forging and stamping plant has begun producing missiles of various types, the resistance movement said.

It said the plant is expanding rapidly, building new workshops and significantly increasing the number of employees – from 10,000 to 17,000 people.
Atesh also gave the coordinates of the plant.
"We are getting new details and working to stop its activities," the group said in its post.
In September, U.S. newspaper the New York Times reported that Russia had adapted to Western sanctions and export controls and was now producing more missiles than before the full-scale war against Ukraine was unleashed.

On Oct. 24, Andriy Yusov, a spokesman for the Ukrainian military intelligence, said that the Russia had managed to accumulate a certain number of missiles ahead of the winter.
It is widely believed in Ukraine that Russia will launch another campaign to destroy civilian heating and power infrastructure during the winter.
Russia launched such a campaign last year, but while causing significant damage and forcing power companies to schedule regular blackouts across the country, the Kremlin failed to destroy Ukraine’s energy system and achieve a complete blackout.
Since last year, Ukraine has also acquired powerful and capable air defense systems, including the U.S. Patriot system.
However, Ukraine still says it lacks adequate numbers of air defense systems, and it continues to appeal to its military allies to supply them to protect the country’s cities, ports and energy infrastructure from Russian attacks.
