The 'Fight For This Love' singer keeps a pretty low profile on social media these days but posted a new picture of herself with a cake after she turned 38 this week.
The snap shows the star holding a plate containing a cupcake with a gold candle in it. “Happy Birthday” is swirled on the plate in chocolate sauce.
“Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes, I had the loveliest day,” wrote Cheryl, who celebrated her big day on 30 June.
Fans were thrilled that the star had checked in and posted messages online wishing her many happy returns.
“Happy birthday queen! We miss you on Twitter!” said one, while another wrote: “Love And Miss Youuuuu So So Much!”
“Forever a queen and a legend,” gushed another admirer.
“You look radiant - glad you had a good day queen xx,” said another.
'Call My Name’ star Cheryl, who shares a son with her former flame Liam Payne, returned to Instagram in June after being absent from the platform for more than a year.
Before that, the Girls Aloud singer had last posted on June 2, 2020, marking a ‘blackout’ as part of an online protest over the death of George Floyd.
She returned 53 weeks later with new pictures from a shoot.
