Gayle makes history with astonishing century
West Indies superstar Chris Gayle has broken new ground in T20 cricket with an unbeaten 126 from just 51 balls.
Gayle helped Rangpur to victory in the Bangladeshi Premier League against Khulna on Saturday, scoring almost three-quarters of his side's total runs.
The T20 specialist blasted 14 sixes in his incredible innings, including a world record 800th six in the game's shortest format.
It was the 14th time Gayle has hit more than 10 sixes in a T20 innings, a feat no-one else has achieved more than twice.
It was Gayle's 19th T20 century, putting him miles ahead of his nearest rivals - Brendon McCullum, Luke Wright and Michael Klinger all have seven.

"I think it is called the Gayle storm," Khulna captain Mahmudullah said.
"To be honest, he batted outstandingly.
"We didn't bowl well up front, because we know about his power and capability."
