Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger welcome baby girl
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have welcomed their first baby together, announcing they welcomed a baby girl named Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt – her middle name is that of Katherine's mum, Maria Shriver.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star took to Instagram to share the first photo of his daughter, a sweet snap of himself and Katherine holding their baby's hand.
He wrote: "We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. We couldn’t be happier. Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed. Love Katherine and Chris."
Chris, who is very open about his faith, also shared two Psalm verses: "Psalm 126:3... The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
"Psalm 127:3-4... Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate."
Katherine's brother Patrick was the first to confirm the news of the birth on Sunday, telling ET at a market, "They're doing great, just got her a little gift."
Patrick was seen holding a gift with a pink ribbon at the time.
A source also told ET: "The couple is so excited for their new addition and have been showered with love from their family and friends."

"Chris was there for the the birth and the couple can’t stop taking their eyes off their daughter. Katherine and Chris are doing well and Katherine is enjoying the experience of being a first time mother."
They added: "Giving birth was such a special moment for Katherine. She was overcome with emotions when she first held her daughter and was so thankful to have Chris there."
The pair tied the knot in June 2019, five months after Chris proposed. A source confirmed they were expecting in April.
Katherine's dad Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in May and spoke about the exciting news.
"Think about this for a second... there's three gene pools that you can do," he said.
"There's Kennedy, there's Schwarzenegger, and Pratt. We can do anything. We can go and solve the Cuban missile crisis... We can go and train dinosaurs. I mean, think about it!"
Chris shares his first son, Jack, seven, with ex-wife Anna Faris.
