Chrishell Stause on Upcoming Holiday Plans with Partner G Flip: 'Our Traditions Have Changed' (Exclusive)
The real estate agent will mark her first holiday season as a newlywed this year
Chrishell Stause is ready to close out 2023 with a bang!
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the real estate agent, 42 — who recently partnered with 21 Seeds Tequila for a Friendsgiving dinner — opens up about her upcoming first holiday season as a newlywed to partner G Flip, whom she married earlier this year.
"Our traditions have changed. Our family has kind of moved and shifted, and people have moved around, so now we're spending Thanksgiving and Christmas in Australia when it's cold and miserable where my family's at," says the Kentucky native. "And then we will go over that way when it's nice and warm."
It'll be a dual purpose-trip: "G got nominated for six ARIA Awards, so fingers crossed for that," Stause adds of the Australian honor. "I'm going to go there for the award show, and I'll stay there for the holidays as well."
As for whether she expects the holidays to be different now that she's married, Stause admits, "I don't know. We're already in that lovey stage, so I don't know that it'll be any better, but you know what, you can always try."

The couple first met on Halloween in 2021, when Stause was still dating her Selling Sunset costar, Jason Oppenheim and G Flip, 30, was also in a relationship.
In May 2022, Stause confirmed her new romance with G Flip during the Selling Sunset reunion episode, five months after she split from Oppenheim, 46.
Fast forward to a year later, the pair then married during a sweet and "small" Las Vegas wedding, which even featured an Elvis impersonator.
"It was a very small group there with us and some friends and family watching on a live stream," Stause told PEOPLE exclusively at the time.

During the holiday season, Stause says she is looking forward to putting her gift-giving skills to good use.
"If I know the person really well, I'm an excellent gift-giver," she says. "I like to put a lot of time and thought into it, and really make it perfect."
