Christina Aguilera slammed for Whitney Houston AMAs tribute

It's always going to be difficult to step into Whitney Houston's shoes, and that proved to be the case for Christina Aguilera at this year's American Music Awards.

Christina had been given the honour to mark the 25-year anniversary of the legendary singer's hit song I Will Always Love You.

But it seems the choice of singer didn't go down all too well with some fans.

Many also noticed that Christina's fellow Lady Marmalade singer Pink, grimaced during her Whitney performance.

However, some did come to Christina's defence saying she "gave it a really great try".

But whatever your thoughts on her performance, you can't deny she looked sensational.
