Lately, I’ve been on the go so much that I’ve barely given my skin any room to breathe — like wearing makeup from dawn until dusk almost every single day, thanks to New York Fashion Week. Face masks, in my opinion, are the epitome of self-care. There’s nothing like relaxing while wearing a cooling face mask in the morning or at the end of a long day, specifically one with loads of skin benefits. Meant to mimic cryotherapy (i.e., chilling or icing your skin to tighten pores and reduce redness), this mask does just that by blending together caffeine to minimize dark circles and puffiness and a mix of peptides to prevent water retention like face bloating and promoting circulation.
I deal with a good amount of puffiness right after I wake up, and it’s almost always around my eye area and T-zone, so I put the mask to the test after my morning coffee since I had several events I had to go to that day. The brand suggests leaving the two-piece mask on for 20 minutes. However, I left mine on for 15 and noticed an incredible improvement in my swelling and overall dull complexion. My eyes looked completely revived, and my skin looked dewy and moisturized.
