Crazy Princess Diana death conspiracy

The internet had a momentary freak out on Monday because someone allegedly confessed to killing Princess Diana in 1997.

It was a retired MI5 agent by the name of John Hopkins, who at 80-years-old had just been told he had weeks to live.

His bizarre claims were published on the online website YourNewsWire, and quickly spread. The rumour mill was in full swing.

On his death bed, the former agent claimed he had been involved in 23 assassinations for the British intelligence agency between 1973 and 1999, including that of Princess Diana.

He said he was part of a cell of seven operatives who were trusted to carry out political assassinations across the UK with most victims being politicians, activists, journalists and union leaders.

Any red flags yet?

During his so-called ‘confession’ he said Princes Diana was unique because she was his only female assassination, the only Royal, and the only one ordered by the Royal family.

Ok, now it’s getting ridiculous.

Never fear though, the story has been confirmed as fake news.

There was no truth to it. The original article lacked any critical details like when and where the confession occurred, or how the supposed assassination took place, and no other ‘credible’ news outlet reported the story as true.

Fake news is everywhere.
