'Beyond besotted': Pat Cummins' heartwarming video stuns fans

Aussie cricket favourite Pat Cummins has left fans in awe after sharing a beautiful video following the birth of his first child.

Cummins and fiancee Becky Boston announced the birth of their son on Tuesday after sharing a video of their journey together.

The video starts with Boston showing Cummins the pregnancy test, before it goes through the journey and eventually showed the cricketer holding his son.

Albie Boston Cummins was born on October 8.

"On Friday, Becky and I welcomed our gorgeous boy Albie into the world," he wrote.

"We couldn’t be more besotted."

Cricket world reacts to Pat Cummins news

The cricket world was quick to react to the heartwarming video.

Aussie ODI captain Aaron Finch wrote: "This is anything", while David Warner sent his congratulations.

Bonnie Paine, wife of Test cricket captain Tim Paine, wrote: "I've watched this three times already. So happy for you guys."

South African fast-bowling great Morne Morkel wrote: "Beautiful. Congrats you two. Love the name."

Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik wrote: "That is so beautiful".

Alex Carey, Andre Russell and Harry Conway were just a number of cricketers to also react to the news.

Cummins will soon join Australia in Dubai, after most have left to join the T20 World Cup squad ahead of their first mach against New Zealand on October 18.

The Aussie fast-bowler hasn't played cricket since leaving the IPL in April and choosing to stay home with Boston during her pregnancy.
