David and Victoria Beckham 'caught coronavirus partying in LA'

David and Victoria Beckham reportedly feared they might be COVID-19 super-spreaders after allegedly catching the coronavirus while partying in LA.

According to The Sun, the pair fell ill after celebrating the launch of David’s new football club, Inter Miami FC, in California at the beginning of March.

Unaware they were reportedly carrying the virus, they are then thought to have flown back to the UK where they celebrated their son Brookyln’s 21st birthday and then back to Miami for a short trip.

Then are then believed to have tested positive for the highly contagious coronavirus.

“It was an absolute nightmare scenario,” a friend of the couple told The Sun.

“David started to feel ill and then Victoria developed a sore throat and high temperature.

“At the same time, several of their team including drivers, bodyguards and assistants fell ill — a couple of them very badly so.”

Victoria was not only sick in bed but as well was left “utterly petrified they might be super-spreaders”.

The couple are thought to have been extremely stringent about staying indoors and declined many party invites for the rest of the summer.

It comes just days after Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson took to Instagram to reveal he and his entire family have tested positive for the coronavirus.

In a video posted on Wednesday, the 48-year-old shared that he and his wife, Lauren and their daughters Jasmine, 4, and Tiana, 2, all have been sick with the virus.

“I wanted to give you guys a little helpful update on things that have been going on on my end for the past two-and-a-half to three weeks now,” Dwayne began his video message.

“So the update is this: my wife Lauren as well as my two baby girls and myself, we have all tested positive for COVID-19.

“I could tell you that this has been one of the most challenging and difficult things we have ever had to endure as a family, and for me, too, personally as well. And I've gone through some doozies in the past.”
