Another day in quarantine, another day of wishing Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell would adopt us into their adorable family. In the past few months, Bell and their daughters danced outside Shepard's window while he self-isolated, the daughters also drank non-alcoholic beers in solidarity with their dad's sobriety, and, overall, they've always kept it real about the highs and lows of pandemic living. Most recently, though, the thing that's making our hearts swell is watching a video of Shepard cut his hair so that he could twin with his daughter.

The haircut, which he first did over Instagram Live, is set to the tune of Sara Bareilles' song "Armor." Shepard shared the video to his feed, explaining why he was cutting his hair in the caption.

"Thank you @sarabareilles forgiving my daughters an anthem. She requested a specific haircut a few days ago, and now I want to match her :)," Shepard wrote.

In the video, he dances along while buzzing one side of his head, and, as one commenter wrote, the whole thing has him "earning some serious Dad-of-the-Year points."

Shepard and Bell share two daughters: Lincoln, who is 7 years old, and Delta, who is 5. He didn't say which of his kids he was hoping to match, and there isn't a photo of the daughter's matching hair (the couple likes to keep photos of their children private). But, Shepard did share his final cut alongside a photo of Keanu Reeves sporting a similar look in the 1989 movie Parenthood.

To make matters even cuter, Bell reposted the video of Shepard's haircut to her own account and wrote, "I love this man so much. He wanted to twin with our daughter."

Sara Bareilles also chimed in on Shepard's post and her comment is everything: "This is the best best best. Thank you for being a kick ass dad for strong young women!"
