Daytime Emmys Sets New Airdate In December
The 50th Annual Daytime Emmys, which were originally set to air in June, has a new airdate.
The show will now air live on Dec. 15 on CBS. The original telecast of June 16 had to be canceled because of the labor dispute. The Creative Arts & Lifestyle ceremony, originally scheduled for June 17, was also postponed.

This year marks the 17th time CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmys, more than any other network. Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner of Entertainment Tonight will host the ceremony from the Westin Bonaventure Los Angeles.
Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress Susan Lucci, who was previously announced, will receive her Lifetime Achievement Honors at the gala awards ceremony.
ABC’s General Hospital leads the 2023 Daytime Emmy nominations with 19 noms, followed by fellow long-running soaps CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful (14) and The Young and the Restless (13) and NBC/Peacock’s Days of Our Lives (11). All also are vying for the marquee Daytime Drama Series prize along with Popstar TV!’s The Bay, which received three noms.

The Kelly Clarkson Show leads the talk field with 11 noms, with fellow syndies The Drew Barrymore Show and freshman The Jennifer Hudson Show next with seven and six, respectively, all including Daytime Talk Series.

The 50th Annual Daytime Emmys is produced by NATAS and Associated Television International (ATI), which produced Daytime Emmy Award ceremonies on The CW in 2009 and on CBS in 2010, 2011, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Adam Sharp and Lisa Armstrong are executive producers from NATAS, while David McKenzie is executive producer from ATI.
