Action star Dolph Lundgren, 62, announced his engagement to personal trainer Emma Krokdal, 24, on Instagram with many of his followers leaving comments jokingly referring to his partner as his daughter.
The pair, who have a 38 year age gap, first went public in January with Dolph captioning the engagement announcement, "Something very special happened here in Sweden."
One follower wrote, "Your daughter got engaged? Good on ya Dolph," while another cheekily added, "Congrats to your daughter and partner."
Someone else wrote, "Dolph you have a commanding presence..... and your daughter looks lovely," another said, "Congrats to your daughter!!! Who’s the lucky guy?"
However, some fans were a little more genuine, with one user writing, "Aw! Congrats to the happy couple! Hope you’re really happy together Dolph!"
Another lamented, "Great my future husband has been taken."
Sylvester Stallone, who worked with Dolph on Rocky IV wrote, "Congratulations my good friend. You’re the best."
Emma also shared her own snaps of the proposal including a closeup shot of the ring which featured a pink stone.

He's previously dated singer Grace Jones, model Paula Barbieri and karate champ Jenny Sandersson.
Dennis Quaid ties the knot with 27-year-old
It comes after Dennis Quaid, 66, announced he'd married his partner Laura Savoie, 27, earlier this month.
The actor told People Magazine, "I didn’t go out looking for an age gap or someone really younger than me."
"I met her at a business event and then the relationship developed. You have no control over who you fall in love with."
He added, "I don’t fall in love easily. But I can’t let what a few people think control all that. I’ve been married three times and this is the final one, I know it is. I feel like I have a real partner in life."
