How Dolphins fans may have taken Fitzpatrick for granted

Fantasy analyst and Dolphins fam Troy King joins Yahoo Fantasy expert Andy Behrens to discuss who may be on the move from Miami.

ANDY BEHRENS: So the Fitz comments immediately after he was benched where he talks about you know, being fired on a Zoom meeting and all that, like was that, was he being funny? It didn't seem like he was being funny. It seemed like he was like, really hurt by this, and was having absolutely the time of his life with the Dolphins quarterback.

TROY KING: He definitely was hurt and I think a lot of us took it for granted because he's been on eight different teams. He's been benched before. So I think everyone just, and he knew what it was, he knew Tua was going to be the long term starter. So I think everyone kind of just took it for granted. They kind of didn't take his feelings into consideration. But, I was very surprised he was so candid, but it was refreshing and I feel for Fitz. You know, but at the end of the day, it's football, it's a business so they're transitioning to their, you know, their number one pick so, it was going to happen eventually. I feel bad for him but you know, it's the Tua.

ANDY BEHRENS: Is anybody a tradeship here, like are they going to be dealing Jordan Howard before the deadline? Are they going to be dealing like, is there a chance that Ryan Fitzpatrick leaves this team via trade?

TROY KING: The problem is, who wants Jordan Howard?

ANDY BEHRENS: Right.

TROY KING: Here's the thing, they can try

ANDY BEHRENS: [INAUDIBLE] Jordan Howard.

TROY KING: You're right. I mean, he's a running back, so, you know, those-- those grow on trees, but I-- he's been a healthy scratch. So I could definitely see him moving on Fitz, I mean, there's been talk about like Washington, or even Dallas has been the hot name. I think it would make sense if he could get something decent for him, why not? But I like him as a backup to-- to what I like, I love Fitz just being on the team, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets dealt.
