A group of fuming motorists have been filmed duelling in the street with a pair of chainsaws. The brawl took place after a gardener, driving a pickup truck, nearly hit a car on a roundabout in Rosolini in Sicily, Italy, on 10 September.

The occupants, reportedly three foreign nationals, jumped out of the vehicle to confront the gardener and his colleague. The two drivers then became embroiled in a heated row.

In a clip, a person from the car can be seen grabbing a ladder from the gardener’s truck to allegedly use as a weapon. His pal then takes one of two chainsaws from the back of the pickup truck and the gardener decides to arm himself with the other.

The pair then battle with the handheld tools in the middle of the street. Filmed by a scared onlooker, the video shows the two drivers duelling by the roundabout with the chainsaws.

The power tools aren’t apparently running and the brawlers appear to use them as makeshift swords.

In another video, the car occupants are seen chasing the two gardeners away in front of a group of onlookers, who can be heard chattering in the background.

According to local reports, the gardener came off worse and ended up receiving six stitches in a nearby hospital. The police confirmed that they are interviewing eyewitnesses and trying to identify the individuals in the video, as reported by NeedToKnow.

They said the brawl was filmed by multiple onlookers as well as several nearby CCTV cameras. The police investigation continues.
