The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to return to the UK ahead of the Commonwealth Day service on 9 March, which is attended by members of the royal family annually.

During their time in London, both Harry and Meghan will carry out a number of royal duties. Additionally, as a source reveals to BAZAAR.com, "Meghan will be conducting some private and patronage-related meetings during her time in London".

It's thought that Prince Harry will arrive in the UK before his wife. The prince will host a summit on behalf of the Travalyst initiative in Scotland, before joining Meghan later in London.

The duchess has regularly made low-key private visits to her patronages, and often shares photos from the trips at a later date.

Earlier this week, the Sussexes revealed further details regarding their plans to step down as senior members of the royal family. Meghan and Harry explained that they will be starting a non-profit organisation, rather than a foundation, once they have transitioned into their new royal roles, and that they will no longer use the name 'Sussex Royal'. They also revealed that the royal exit process had been "saddening," particularly "given the closeness of Their Royal Highnesses and their dedicated team."
