Duncan Hines Has Pudding Cups Flavored Like Cake And Frosting For A New Twist On Dessert
Whether you’ve realized it or not, you’ve most likely have made or eaten a Duncan Hines cake at some point in your life. The boxed cake mix comes in a bunch of flavors and just makes life simpler, you know? The brand has now gone in a different direction with cake-flavored pudding, and it looks delicious.
The Duncan Hines Layered Pudding comes in three flavors: Yellow Cake With Chocolate Frosting Pudding, Frosting Sugar Cookie Pudding, and Salted Caramel Brownie Pudding. Basically, each cup has two layers of pudding — one flavored like cake and the other flavored like pudding.

The puddings come in four-packs, so they’re easy to toss in your kid’s lunchbox or enjoy yourself when you’re craving something sweet. Instagram account @foodiewiththebeasts found the 3.75-ounce cups at Redner’s Markets, a local grocery store based in Pennsylvania. So hopefully it won’t be long until they’re rolled out nationwide. Just keep an eye on the refrigerated aisle near the other pudding brands.
We can’t help but to think that cake-flavored pudding will taste and have the consistency of cake batter … which would honestly be ideal and we really, really hope that’s the case.
