Eamonn Holmes suggests ITV 'heavily' advertising 'GMB' after he started GB News show
Eamonn Holmes has suggested that ITV has started to “heavily” advertise Good Morning Britain after he started his GB News show.
The presenter left ITV last year, having been on This Morning since 2006, and now hosts a programme on GB News with Isabel Webster.
This week Holmes weighed in when a viewer suggested Holmes and Webster’s show might have other TV bosses a bit worried.

The person wrote on Twitter: “Just seen @BBCBreakfast being advertised for the first time ever on the BBC. @EamonnHolmes & Isabel Webster on @GBNEWS breakfast must be having one hell of an impact on their viewing figures.”

Holmes, 62, then replied: “Not the first to say this... GMB advertising heavily as well.”
“Whatever you do stay strong folks and stay with @GBNEWS,” he added.
Holmes had presented This Morning with his wife Ruth Langsford, who is staying on the show despite his exit.
He announced in December that he was moving on, saying: “I’ve spent my career on broadcasting firsts and start-ups, and GB News is one of the most exciting yet.
“It’s just the kind of shake-up the industry needs.”
The star said he’d admired GB News from the beginning for its “clever mix of punchy debate but delivered with warmth and even some fun”.
“To me the greatest honour in journalism is to give a voice and respect to the unheard, and that’s exactly what GB News is all about,” he said.
