Linda Carter will be back in EastEnders over Christmas as actor Kellie Bright makes a brief return.
The character was last seen on screen back in September running away with newborn daughter Annie as she and husband Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) didn’t want the truth to come out about her real father being Max Branning (Jake Wood).
Max left the Square earlier this year but went without knowing he had fathered a baby with Linda during a brief affair.

Mick returned to The Queen Vic alone while Linda has kept away from Walford to protect their secret.
Linda will come face to face with Walford villain Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) when she decides to take it upon herself to find out just what’s happening between the Carters.
She goes on to track Linda down and predictably uses what she knows to gain the upper hand.
Christmas spoilers for the BBC soap have already teased that Janine will be trying her hardest to get her claws into Mick over the festive period while she also comes to blows with his daughter Nancy (Maddy Hill).
Viewers can expect to see Linda’s return from Tuesday 28 December.
Bright, 45, has been on maternity leave from the programme for several months as she and husband Paul Stocker welcomed their third child, son Rudy, in September.
The couple, who have been married since 2014, are also parents to sons Freddy, 10, and Gene, five.
