Struggling to keep track with the constant stream of soap spoilers? Fear not, as every Monday Digital Spy picks out the biggest and best storylines hitting your screens in the week ahead.
1. EastEnders: Shock school prom attack (Thursday at 7.30pm and Friday at 8pm on BBC One)
It's been a while since EastEnders brought us the must-see soap storyline of the week, but all of the hype surrounding the Walford school prom certainly has us intrigued. After early spoilers vaguely promised chaos at the happy event, a subsequent trailer appeared to show Louise suffering a horror fall from a balcony after being pushed by Alexandra.
Thankfully, the trailer teased just enough so there's still plenty of reasons to tune in. Will Louise suffer serious injuries – or worse, be killed off? Will this be the huge storyline that brings back Phil Mitchell? And perhaps most importantly, will we finally see the back of the bullies? (Here's hoping...)
2. Coronation Street: Bethany gets a huge step closer to justice (Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV)
Just when it seemed like all hope was lost in Bethany's fightback against Nathan, everything changes with a little help from her best friend Craig Tinker. Craig finds himself at the mercy of Neil Clifton when the corrupt copper bundles him into a car, wanting to scare him into not revealing all he knows about Bethany's ordeal.
Showing some quick-thinking that bodes well for his future in the police force, Craig activates the record function on his phone and desperately hopes that Neil will say something incriminating. While we can't give away exactly what happens next, Craig's brave move paves the way for Bethany reporting finally Neil to the police, providing fresh hope that both he and Nathan will face trial for their crimes.
3. Emmerdale: Rhona's sad setback as the trial gets closer (Monday at 7pm on ITV)
While things are looking up for Bethany over on Corrie, Rhona fears that she's already lost her chance to see rapist Pierce sent to prison when there's a major setback ahead of the trial. Rhona is shocked when a police officer arrives with the photos that were secretly taken of her and Paddy embracing last week, especially when she's told that they could back up the lies that Pierce is planning to tell in court.
Paddy is saddened to realise that he's inadvertently played a major role in making things worse for Rhona and he's left feeling even worse when she asks him to stay away. When Vanessa is later told that she's expected to give evidence at the trial, could she be Rhona's last hope?
4. Hollyoaks: DS Armstrong shows his true colours (Monday at 7pm on E4 and Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)
Could this week be the end of DS Armstrong's creepy reign of terror in the village? Well, it looks like that depends on how quickly Cindy can run! Tense scenes in Monday's E4 episode see Cindy running for her life after finding herself at Armstrong's mercy at a hotel in Liverpool, where she's finally realised he's not to be trusted.
We can't imagine Armstrong's stalking shenanigans will stay secret for long with outspoken Cindy now in the know, but will she get her chance to make her escape and expose his freaky behaviour to everyone?
5. Neighbours: Susan's collapse leads to a shock offer for Elly (Wednesday and Thursday at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5)
It's the sight that would have probably driven Finn Kelly to a nervous breakdown – Elly Conway stepping in as acting principal of Erinsborough High! Despite Elly's rather unique approach to teaching so far, Susan reckons her niece is the perfect choice to step into her shoes when she needs some time out to recuperate following a relapse with her MS.
Susan finally listens to Karl's advice after she suffers a nasty fall in the school playground and finds herself unable to get up again as her symptoms are flaring up. As Susan goes off for a relaxing break with Karl, is Elly up to the task of replacing her?
6. EastEnders: Steven's scheming is under threat already (Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One)
Steven stooped to new lows last week by blurting out that he has a brain tumour in a desperate attempt to stop Lauren from leaving him, but his big challenge this week is finding a way to keep his shocking lies going.
First on Steven's agenda is finding a way to silence his other love interest Abi, who is naturally first to figure out that he's not being entirely honest by claiming that he's dying. Even if Steven does manage to keep Abi quiet, he should also be pretty worried about the Branning sisters' father Max, who instantly smells a rat. Could this fiasco draw Steven into the tangled web of Max's revenge?
7. Coronation Street: Eva finds a brand new ally (Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV)
Eva takes the risk of letting another character in on her revenge plans when she realises that Adam Barlow knows all about Aidan's affair with Maria and is blackmailing him. Fearful of how this will affect her own plans, Eva secretly urges Adam to back off – but he makes an intriguing counter-offer by suggesting they should team up together instead.
Cunning Adam is full of clever ideas to help Eva, pointing out that her new home with Aidan should be put in her name so that she can claim it as her own when they inevitably split. But is this fearsome new partnership taking a risky step too far when they also set their sights on the factory?
8. Emmerdale: Priya and Pete get caught out (Wednesday at 7pm on ITV)
When Pete receives an unexpected marriage proposal from Leyla, he's unsure about what to do and goes running to his secret lover Priya for some handy advice. This definitely isn't his smartest move, as nosy Nell is nearby and overhears everything.
The next day, Priya wants answers from Nell after discovering that she hasn't attended a meeting with social services to discuss the future of her daughter Rosie, despite promising Jai that she would. When Nell turns the tables by confronting Priya over her affair with Pete, could it be game over for the two love cheats?
9. Hollyoaks: Warren is targeted by a stalker (Wednesday at 7pm on E4 and Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)
A new mystery storyline begins this week as it becomes clear that someone in the village has a major axe to grind where Warren Fox is concerned. First off, a note gets pushed through the door of Warren's flat which reads "I know your secret" and this is later followed up by a threatening text.
Of course, Warren Fox is a man of many secrets, so his first priority is trying to figure out whether his unknown enemy is talking about his affair with Grace Black or the small matter of Bart McQueen's brutal murder. Whichever is the case, it's only the beginning of what Warren's tormentor has in store...
