EastEnders has revealed an emotional new storyline for Sonia and Martin Fowler, as their teenage daughter Bex goes missing later this month.

Bex (Jasmine Armfield) packs her bags and flees from Albert Square as her recent problems come to a head – including stress over her exams and heartbreak over her unrequited feelings for Kush Kazemi.

When Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) and Martin (James Bye) discover that Bex has gone, they're distraught and launch a desperate attempt to track her down again.

The pair's stress escalates when they see the suspicious-looking picture that Rainie Branning recently took, showing Bex with Stuart Highway.

Fearing that Stuart could be involved in some way, Martin and Sonia race to bring Bex back to safety. Will she return to the Square?

Coming up on Coronation Street, Steve McDonald has to accept some big changes at Streetcars in order to stop the business from going under.

Steve (Simon Gregson) is horrified when the police catch up with him over his involvement in the recent robbery at the petrol station.

A terrified Steve confesses to the police that he was the getaway driver, but had no choice as the robber threatened him. However, a bigger issue may be that he picked the guy up illegally in the first place.

When the aftermath sees Steve face severe consequences, including being banned from driving his cab, it means that he's only allowed to take charge of the switch.

Tim Metcalfe is furious, but help is at hand when Tracy, Eileen and Liz arrive and announce that they are going to run Streetcars. Tracy and Liz will be driving cabs, while Eileen will apply for an operator's license.

The formidable trio also meet up with Jay and persuade him to produce a Streetcars app at a knockdown price, allowing the firm to better compete with its new rival GoLucky. Has the Streetcars crisis been solved?
