'Proud' Eminem praises influencer daughter Hailie in rare interview

Emimen has said his biggest accomplishment in his life is being able to raise his kids.

The 47-year-old appeared on Mike Tyson's Hot Boxin' podcast where he spoke candidly about his daughter, Hailie Mathers, and how proud he is of the university graduate and aspiring fitness influencer.

“Hailie is 23, no babies, she has a boyfriend, but she's doing good.She’s made me proud for sure. She’s graduated from college,” Eminem said.

He also spoke of his two other kids, who he is primary carer for - his niece Alaina and Whitney, his ex-wife Kim Scott’s daughter from a previous relationship.

"I have a niece that I have helped raise too that's pretty much like a daughter to me and she is 26. And I have a younger one that's 17 now.

"So when I think about my accomplishments that's probably the thing I'm the most proud of is that – is being able to raise kids."

He went on to say that it’s very important to him that he keeps his kids grounded, despite their father being one of the most successful artists from the 21st century.

“People also think too that money just buys happiness, (but) that absolutely is not the truth” he said.

"You’ve got to be right inside, otherwise none of this shit means nothing.”

Of all of Eminem’s daughters, 23-year-old Hailie is probably the most well known, as she was regularly mentioned in her dad’s music in such songs such as Hailie’s Song, Mockingbird, Kim and ‘97 Bonnie & Clyde.

Hailie, who has 1.9 million followers on Instagram, regularly uploads her daily outfits to her page and is building a platform as a social media influencer.

Hailie graduated from university in 2018 and told the Daily Mail she aspired to be an influencer.

"She's made me proud for sure, she's graduated from college".
