The Celebrity Big Brother 2018 line-up is rumoured to be all-female.

Well, that's the word on the street – and it looks like CBB guru Emma Willis is well aware of the rumours.

During an appearance on ITV's Lorraine today (October 13), the presenter insisted she didn't know if the reports were 100% true but admitted she hoped they were.

She said: "I've read these stories in the papers but I haven't had a phone call to confirm anything.

"I think it would be an amazing thing to do though. It's going to have been 100 years since women got the right to vote around that time and we now live in a world that is pro-feminism, finally! We deserve to be equal.

"Personally, I think it would be amazing to have all women in the house. We did it once before when Ziggy (Lichman) was the only man and it was all girls, but then the boys were slowly filtered in."

Fans are speculating that the drama will be more intense than ever if the house is all-female.

However, Emma is hoping for a slightly different outcome.

She explained: "It's very interesting when it's just women. I think it would be great for the series to be celebratory of women rather than what people are assuming [you put a group of women together and they'll all argue].

"But we will have to wait and see if this is all true. These reports may have just come from somewhere and not be real."

Elsewhere during her appearance on Lorraine, Emma confirmed that she is going to be the face of Simon Cowell's new music show Your Song.

The series tells the stories of extraordinary people who are nominated by their friends and families to receive the performance of a lifetime from their favourite artist.

Opening up about the programme, Emma added: "Music means so much to people. Obviously, there are various reasons that made me want to do this show but the fact that it focuses on human interest stories is everything.

"I mean, I love people, that's why I do Big Brother and The Voice. This show brings people and music together so it's just brilliant."

The artists that are taking part in the new series include Rita Ora, Paloma Faith, Little Mix, The Script and James Arthur.

Lorraine is on ITV, weekdays at 8.30am. Celebrity Big Brother 2018 will kick-off in January.
