Emmerdale will air a shock twist in the 'Who Killed Emma?' storyline later this month as one character is arrested.
Fans have been speculating over the show's murder mystery since October, when Emma was pushed to her death from a viaduct by an unknown culprit.
And the good news is that there isn't much longer to wait as Emmerdale will reveal the killer in an exciting episode on Thursday, December 14.
But fans shouldn't expect the drama to end there as the aftermath will see the police make another arrest, throwing one family into total turmoil.
Although the audience will know who was responsible at that point, they will have to wait and see if the villager arrested is the real culprit or not. But one thing is for sure – there are plenty more twists and turns to come as the plot continues to unravel.
With one character facing a possible prison sentence, another resident will come close to revealing a huge secret that could have devastating consequences in the lead-up to Christmas. But who is arrested? And will life in the village ever be the same again?
Emmerdale bosses have previously named Laurel Thomas, Pete Barton, Gabby Thomas, Ross Barton, Cain Dingle, Moira Dingle and Adam Barton as the main suspects in the mystery.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
