Police have turned to the public for help in locating a missing fisherman who vanished over the weekend and has not been seen since taking his boat out on Saturday.
Darryn Kimlin was last seen leaving the Lamington Bridge Boat Ramp in Maryborough in Queensland at about 10am on November 2. He was expected to return from the trip, which he took alone, at about midday on Sunday.
Police say the 42-year-old's family hold "serious concerns" for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Kimlin's family say he last contacted them at 3.50pm on Saturday, indicating he was fishing in the river mouth at Beaver Rock. He is being described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall with a slim build, blonde-brown hair, and blue eyes.
Kimlin's was last seen wearing a long sleeve fishing shirt and board shorts and was traveling in a five-meter fibre glass half cab boat named “Tamarumma”. The location of the boat is not known.
