Female felon’s name sends Facebook into spasms

Oh glorious internet you have delivered yet again!

This time in the form of possibly the best comments thread on any single Facebook post ever.

It’s all thanks to the Virginia Department of Corrections in the US, who shared a post on Facebook detailing information about a female fugitive the police are searching for.

“Cletorious Aretha Fry, age 34, is wanted for violating the terms and conditions of her supervised probation,” the post read.

She removed her ankle bracelet and her whereabouts are unknown.”

Police also shared an image of the woman in question but it was her name which drew the biggest reaction.

It seems it reminded everyone of a certain part of the female anatomy, and the resulting comments are just too good to miss. It’s even been dubbed the ‘holy grail’ of comment threads.

I think I know where she’s at. I just can’t put my finger on it,” one person wrote.

“I wouldn’t mess with her this time of month. Period,” another joked.

The post, which was shared four days ago, has almost 100,000 hilarious comments, and been shared over 116,000 times, with plenty of people writing they are “here for the comments”.

“Just when I thought I’d seen the funniest f***ing comments on a post, then I find the holy grail in this thread,” one comment read.

These are just a few more of the best.

“Suspect last known to have curly hair but may have gone bald in an attempt to look Brazilian,” one woman quipped.

“Well that rules out 90 per cent of the male population from being able to find her,” another woman added.

“VIRGINIA is looking for its CLETORIOUS? Not today internet. Not today,” another wrote, pointing out the specific police department’s name.

Some women even shared the post with their husbands.

“My husband said she’s not real, just a myth,” was one result.

“My husband didn’t get the joke, send help,” another woman wrote.

“My husband said he bumped into her once! I mean, I don’t believe him, but I won’t tell him that,” was another comment.

Despite the hilarity of it all, there were a select few who felt sorry for the woman given such an ‘unfortunate name’.

“Well I think she’s the real winner here. Obviously she’s has risen above having an extremely unfortunate name,” one person wrote.

It is unclear whether the woman has in fact been found or not.

“I have been reading, laughing, and crying for the last hour. This is the best thing I’ve ever read on the internet.”
