Matt McKeon suffered a vicious dose of karma in his bout against Gerald Harris at XFN Fight Night in Oklahoma over the weekend.

The fight brought the curtain down on a long and illustrious career for Harris, whose nickname is the 'King of the Slam.'

In McKeon's determination to make it a farewell to forget for Harris, the younger man began taunting his opponent by saying, "Where's the slam king at?"

It was a question McKeon would live to regret - the answer to which left him writhing in agony.

In a method that he's become so accustomed to finishing opponents, Harris picked McKeon up and body-slammed him to the canvas.

Rather than taking the contact on his back, McKeon stuck out an arm to try and brace his fall.

It was a decision that had disastrous consequences for the 30-year-old, who immediately tapped out as the referee called an end to the fight.

Harris stepped away immediately as the extent of McKeon's gruesome injury was realised - his left arm bent back in the opposite direction to what it should have been.

The retiring Harris showed no sympathy towards his rival, posting a brutal reaction to the win on social media after the fight.

Harris' 11-year career finished with a 25-5 record.
