Massive fire broke out in Kyiv Oblast after Russian attack on June 7

Emergency responders are actively working to extinguish a fire in Kyiv Oblast that broke out after a Russian airstrike overnight on June 7, Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES) reported.

Authorities have deployed a firefighting robot and a specialized  firefighting train to combat the blaze.

Firefighting units from both Kyiv Oblast and the City of Kyiv are on site, the SES said.

A fire erupted at an industrial facility after Russia's nighttime attack.

No casualties have been reported, Kyiv Regional Military Administration head, Ruslan Kravchenko, said earlier on June 7.

Ukraine's Air Force shot down 48 of 53 Shahed-131/136 drones launched overnight, as well as all five X-101/X-555 missiles.

The Russian drones and missiles targeted critical infrastructure across several Ukrainian oblasts.
