The best way to spread Thanksgiving cheer is by politely asking the family to gather around your computer and/or phone, and then forcing everyone to watch the first footage from Jurassic World 2, Fallen Kingdom. It’s six glorious seconds of Chris Pratt petting a dinosaur! How is this not the true meaning of Thanksgiving??

Colin Trevorrow, who directed the first film and co-wrote the second, shared the clip to his Twitter early Thanksgiving Eve. The clip is literally only six seconds, so don’t get your hopes up for something longer. But, it’s a damn good six seconds — and Trevorrow is clearly filming Jurassic World off of a monitor, and then Tweeting that video instead of uploading the actual footage, but it’s fine. We do the same.

The plot of Fallen Kingdom is still being kept completely under wraps, but from this footage we now know that the dinosaurs will be back, so that’s something to file away. Pratt’s Owen Grady bends down to let a baby raptor nuzzle up to him, and it is definitely the cutest thing you’ll see today. Because of Pratt. I mean, the raptor’s cute too, but look at the way Pratt gets so excited when the raptor leans in for some TLC!

While the raptor in the video is not Owen’s OG raptor best friend, Blue, this appears to be a sort of Baby Blue, and if Fallen Kingdom is full of baby raptors that’s adorable and also terrifying (because raptors are terrifying). It also appears as if Owen has some sort of buckle glove on his arm, but his hand looks to be totally exposed. Is he nursing some sort of injury, or just has a cool new costume for the sequel?

Also, even bigger question, Owen why have you gone back to the dinosaurs, don’t you remember what happened last time???Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom lands in theaters on June 22nd, 2018.
