Former Gogglebox stars rally around Silbery family after shock news
Angie Kent and Yvie Jones have both spoken out about Isabelle and Kerry Silbery being let go from Gogglebox Australia.
Former Gogglebox stars Angie Kent and Yvie Jones have rallied around Isabelle Silbery and her family, after Isabelle announced the shock news that she, her mum Kerry, and her daughter Ruby would not be back for the revamped version of Gogglebox Australia in 2025.
Isabelle announced on Friday that the family would not be back after nine years on the series, saying they were not "included" in its "new form".
Gogglebox star announces departure
Isabelle first appeared on Gogglebox in 2016 with Kerry and her grandma Emmie, with the quirky and sassy family unit winning over fans with their commentary. On Instagram, Isabelle called it the end of an era.
"It’s with a very heavy heart to announce that Mum, Ruby and I will not be returning to Gogglebox in 2025 🥺💔 Foxtel have decided not to renew our beloved show and although the show will continue on Channel 10, the three of us have not been included in its new form," she wrote.

Aussie stars rally around Silbery family
Former Gogglebox duo Yvie Jones and Angie Kent rallied around Isabelle and her family in the comments, with Yvie saying she didn't understand the decision at all, and Angie saying the family left "impossible" shoes to fill.
"This is sad and wrong. Just the comments on here show how loved you are. I’m so, so sorry. I don’t understand this at all," Yvie said.
"Well, you know what it’s their loss because you three have been nothing but incredible and it’s going to be almost impossible to fill those shoes! I think they’ve dropped the ball here. But what do myself and thousands of other avid TV watchers know, huh 🤷♀," Angie commented. "We love you three women! You’ve become like family to so many of us. Please give Kerry and Em a big cuddle from me and thank you for the amazing content for [so] many years!"

Gogglebox fans have also been left disappointed by the news, sending love to the family. "I'm so sad to read this. You guys are amazing. You’ll be missed," one person commented.
