Former Neighbours star expecting first baby with stepbrother: 'Christmas miracle'

A former Neighbours star has announced she's expecting her first baby with her husband after they got married in September last year.

Scarlet Vas, who was on Neighbours from 2017 to 2018, married her stepbrother Tayo Ricci in Greece last year, and has revealed the couple is expecting a baby girl.

Scarlet, 29, and Tayo met as teenagers while growing up in Melbourne, with their parents later getting married. Despite becoming family, the two fell in love and have been together for 10 years. "We were about 13 years old when we first met through mutual friends, our families knew each other and they introduced us I guess you could say. So we’ve known each other for a very long time," Scarlet said previously in an interview.

The two shot to viral fame on OnlyFans, with Tayo also being a musician and TikTok star, with over 7 million followers. Scarlet revealed earlier this year that she's been consistently earning over $200k on the adult platform.

Former Neighbours star announces pregnancy with stepbrother

"Baby Ricci 🤍 Our Christmas Miracle ✨" Scarlet and Tayo posted on Instagram, announcing their happy news.

However, some followers took to the platform to have their say on the news. "When step bro and step sis have a baby is it a step baby?" one person asked. "Imagine the kid asking mommy what did you do for a living," another said.

Despite the judgement, there were still a lot of well wishes for the couple too. "So happy for you guys," one person commented. "Crying. The genetics of this lil bubba will be insanely cute," another said.

Previously Scarlet has spoken out about the controversial relationship, saying, "I mean the fans love us as like a thing or not a thing. He's my stepbrother and Australian and we've known each other for a very long time."

Who was Scarlet Vas on Neighbours?

Scarlet played the role of policewoman Mishti Sharma on Neighbours in 2017 for a year, before departing Ramsay Street. She's also appeared in the mini-series The Warriors.
