Hermine's friend and producer Thierry Klemeniuk wrote on Facebook in a since-deleted post, "Let us all pray for our Princess."

Viviane Zaniroli, the creator of Rallye des princesses a ladies-only car rally in which Princess Hermine has participated in previously, asked her Facebook friends to pray for the Princess, "For our Mimine, Hermine de Clermont-Tonnerre, in a coma following a motorcycle accident, we think of Allegra and Calixte her children. My darling princess you are a warrior, fight."

French pop singer Jean-Luc Lahaye also said in a TV interview, "I learned the news. It seems it was a very serious motorcycle accident. A vital prognosis is underway. I hope she will get by.

"She is a girl that I adore, a faithful friend, very joyful, an extraordinary character. She is a mum and for this reason also I hope that she will get out of it and that she will regain all her mobility. [I] don’t know what she has yet, but it’s very serious since her vital prognosis is underway."

Hermine is also known for her love of Harley Davidson motorcycles, though not much is known about her accident.

She shares her two children Allegra and Calixte with her ex-husband Alastair Cuddeford.

The Princess has worked as a stylist, an author, and a reality star.

Hermine's family has yet to comment on the incident.
