If the super packed nature and coastal parks in Singapore are any indication, people are now more conscious about leading an active outdoor lifestyle.

For those who want to be a part of the wild outdoors (as wild as Singapore can get, at least), you don't even need to be super fit in the first place to enjoy your day out. The most important thing is to find something that you enjoy, which will allow you to have fun while keeping active. It's a win-win, really.

Consider this list of outdoor activities for your next outing!

If you have a little bit more extra cash to spare, horse riding is a more unusual experience you can get in Singapore. Even if we cannot afford both the price and upkeep of a horse, there are guided rides and lessons available at Gallop Stable, Bukit Timah Saddle Club, Singapore Turf Club Riding Centre, National Equestrian Centre and Singapore Polo Club.

Compared to longboarding, skateboarders are more prominent in the local scene. Even actress Zoe Tay, host Vivian Lai and more local celebrities are joining in the fun with their children.
