Gabrielle Union teaches daughter about self-love in latest TikTok: ‘Yes we got moles’
Gabrielle Union shared a precious moment with her daughter.
On Thursday, the 48-year-old actress posted a video to her TikTok showing her having a sweet conversation with 2-year-old Kaavia, whom she shares with husband and former NBA star Dwyane Wade. In the video, which she captured "teaching her to love every part of herself," the pair lounges in a pool when the toddler calls attention to a mole on Union's chest.
"Yup, mommy has a lot of moles. I’ve got moles on my face," Union explained.
Kaavia inhales in excitement and places her hands on her cheeks.
"I not had a mole," Kaavia said.
"Well, I think you have a couple," the actress responded.
The 2-year-old proceeded to point at her lip, thinking it was a mole, but Union corrected her before lifting up her leg and pointing at her foot.
“Oh there’s your mole,” she said. "Yeah, but see, it’s not bothering anyone so you just leave it."
"Leave it?" Kaavia wondered.
"It’s a part of you. So that’s Kav’s mole and mom’s mole," she pointed out.
"Yes we got moles!" The pair cheered.
Fans took to the comments to praise the star for her inspiring lesson in self-love.

Union regularly shares glimpses into her family life on her social media, which also includes Wade and her stepchildren Zaya, Xavier and Zaire.
Over the years, Union has been open about her own self-love journey and in a February interview with Elle, she admitted that she had not fallen in love with herself until recently.
"Some of that self-love has come from learning to embrace my natural beauty, especially my hair texture. I wore relaxers starting from the time I was 8 and didn’t stop until my 30s,” she said. "I didn’t even wear braids professionally, which might’ve been the first time ever really — until Almost Christmas, which was five or six years ago. Something happened around my 40s where I just fell in love with myself. I emptied my basket of f***s. And that’s the attitude I hope to pass on to my daughters — shameless self-love.”
