On Tuesday night, actor Gabrielle Union will be hosting a live table read of an episode of Friends with an all-Black cast, starring Uzo Aduba, Ryan Bathe, Sterling K. Brown, Kendrick Sampson, Jeremy Pope and Aisha Hinds.

The cast will be reading the episode The One Where No One's Ready from the third season of the series, in which Ross tries to get everyone ready in time for an important event at the museum where he works. Almost the entire episode takes place inside the iconic apartment with only three speaking roles outside of the central cast, making it perfect for a table read.

Replacing Lisa Kudrow, Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, Uzo Aduba (OITNB) will play Phoebe, Ryan Bathe (Empire) will star as Rachel, Sterling K. Brown (Black Panther) will take on the role of Ross, Kendrick Sampson (How to Get Away with Murder) will appear as Joey, Jeremy Pope (Hollywood) will play Chandler and Aisha Hinds (The Next Three Days) will star as Monica.

The live table read is part of a series presented by Black women artists named Zoom Where it Happens, which works to raise awareness of the right to vote ahead of the U.S. election in November.

The table read takes place tonight September 22nd and you can sign up to watch the free virtual event here.
