Giles puts Neto to sleep with brutal combo KO

Upcoming fighter Trevin Giles kept his undefeated run alive with a vicious KO of Antonio Braga Neto in their middleweight bout at UFC Fight Night 123 in Fresno, California.

In just his second bout under the UFC umbrella, American Giles (11-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) rocked his more experienced opponent with a brutal left-right combo that spelled 'lights out' for Neto.

Giles followed that devastating striking up with one last powerful right to the head before referee Frank Trigg stepped in to stop the bout at the 2:27 mark of the third round.

Giles did well to counter after a first round pounding from Brazilian Neto (9-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC), who was fighting for the first time in three and a half years.

The American was clearly the more accomplished stand-up fighter with Neto's best chances of victory lying in his submission prowess.

Giles saw off the challenge in the first two rounds before upping his striking in the third round, where he damaged Neto with several telling jabs.

The American fought his way back up after being taken to ground by Neto, before landing a series of damaging rights that proved to be the Brazilians' undoing.

The bout opened up the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night 123.
